Why I wrote it

After more than thirty years working with small businesses, I've seen the same patterns repeat.

The businesses that grow steadily, attract the right clients, retain good people and command the right fees almost always have one thing in common: they're clear. Clear about what they are, who they're for and why it matters. Clear in how they present, how they communicate and how they behave.
